Turnip, Dibby, and I are getting back to work on the TCG, if only cares about it. We need to get more people involved in the game, and maybe it'll make more action happen on the forums.

Well, it's official, I'm going into game design.
I've nabbed information on Full Sail, ITT Tech, and Guildhall but the rest of them refuse to give me anything but their tuition and admission stuff without giving them false information. Honestly, it looks like I'll go to Full Sail, since their program is not only the cheapest, but also the most innovative.

Innovation = Good.

In other news, I had a freaky dream this morning. We were at the table, eating dinner... and my mom drops this big fuckin' pink spider on my dinner plate. And I just stand up and start swearing my face off and freaking out and stamping my feet on the ground a lot and then I look around and there are spiders all over the house and I start crying.

... *cough* Yeah. I don't know where it comes from, but I have these "the house is full of giant scary spiders" dreams like once a month. I don't like it :(

I've finally found how I'm going to get back into spriting again!

It's called an RPG, I believe.

I do believe I'll have a playable demo ready somewhere in the middle or later part of summer.
That's a project running in simul to the comic I'm practicing the art for; already got most of the writing done.

Since I never knew how to sprite in the first place, I want to try and get back into writing..

Sadly, the only thing I have going for me are the out-of-date Rebirth of the Machine and my currently WoW fanfic that's nameless. I was thinking of starting up a thread for people to create characters and then let me see what I can pull together using the model viewer program that lets you look at and equip every piece of armor/weapon in the entire game.

If anyone wants me to open up a thread where you can create your own characters, just let me know. I'll throw together a submission form and everything and then start posting up pictures of people's characters.

Sound good? I'll even start it off with pictures of mine and Crys' characters, so everyone can see what I'm talking about.

To follow up on a comment from the other thread, there's a reason I'm not in the channel much. I'm not on IRC much, 100% related to the fact that I had my laptop taken away for *insert rant rant bitch bitch mother rant rant* reasons here.

For some reason... I really hate it when people watch me sprite, draw, paint, or do any other kind of art... It's like a psychological condition of paranoia when it comes to these things... coding, too...

I'd love to. I can't.


Anywho
Any input on the battle system I ought to use? Head on like Lufia and Demikids, or side to side like Final Fantasy? Or... I could be ambitious and go for something along the lines of a cleaner version of the Golden Sun isometric system... and then there's the Tales of style real time battle. I'm open to suggestion. You guys and the engine's community will be my test group.

EDIT, 10:00 PM. 4 day weekend, due to wintry mix! 'Course, there wasn't much snow, but there was enough ice from the sky (freezing rain, sleet) to close the three biggest schools in my area for two days. Now, I'm bored. I think I'll just go get a life for the rest of the week.
