I'm thinking about quitting my job.
I'm not doing the job I was supposed to be doing. They're also making me stand up all day, which is murder on my feet. Cause yanno, feet problems and all. I know it's only been like what, 2 weeks. But still. Shit fucking sucks.

Dibby, have you spoken to anybody at work about this? Probably the best idea, rather than going up to them and telling them you're suddenly quitting. Ask them if you can get a task that doesn't involve so much standing, or tell 'em that you're not doing what you're supposed to, or whatever!
If you've done that and they're ignoring your pleas, then maybe quitting is what's best, but it's not the suggestion I want to make.

On the subject of jobs, I'm trying to get a job at either Gamestop, Long John Silvers/A&W, Taco Bell, (basically every food place in my area >_>). I -really- want to get a job at Gamestop, but as far as I know the manager has yet to look at my application, and I don't feel like waiting for someone to call. >_>;;

I made a post in the sprit(e?)ing section earlier this week not only to let everyone know that I'm not quitting it entirely, but also as an experiment to see if Spriters Paradise is still on track.
It's not.
My post on monday was the last post made in there.
So I am now on a quest to speed my own production, if only to try and revive the thing a little bit.
So... here's my itinerary (for quite possibly the rest of the year):
1st: make basic sheets for the Tin Can, Messenger Boy, and my Author sprite.
2nd: Create several inanimate objects scaled to MM7 and MMX style.
3rd: Try again to make a completely new, scratch style in which I'll finally begin work on my video game.
E:
4th: Convert all of my old 8'bit creations to 16-bit, then (if I succeeded) convert them into the new style.

No worries! I'll also comment on other people's stuff, I mean, honestly!
E3:
I always wanted to have an excuse to put "E3" in my post without actually typing about the expo.

I'd be posting sprites of my own up, but I rarely have my computer hooked up at home, and if it is, it's only at the end of the day to play music while I snooze. I'm usually on the laptop, which I hate using the mousepad or the plugin mouse to use for spriting. And when my computer is hooked up for longer periods of time, it's usually at a friend's house and then I'm on WoW the entire time. We still haven't moved out of Crys' mom's house. And Crys is thinking we should wait until about March to move out. That way we won't have to deal with the holiday season and we'll have enough time to build up more money. That and Dibby will have time to get his shit together. Plus, our other friend will have time to work on getting his new car and a better job, so he can move in with us too. All and all.. I just want to get the fuck out of this house. I don't give a damn about getting money piled up for crap, when I already have about 3k in my savings for if problems occur. A PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED. I LIVE WITH CRYS' MOM. I want to kill something.. Her namely. ~Paragon |

Because saying I should just stop talking at dinner is the proper way to handle things when I am simply asking questions. (I did stop talking, btw)
FUNFACT: My Dad called me a threat some time ago, and threatened to lock me up and/or kick me out of the house! (Which totally contradicts what he said years ago, about that he'll never lock me up again, and that I can live here as long as I like)
