Mostly back, I found a hotspot in my room.
I actually have no idea why I still post here. Habit at this point, I suppose

Talon has no more internet. The only time he'll ever be around is if he goes to one of his friends' houses, who live hours away.

Well, then. I guess it's time for my exiastential soliloquy.
...
Well, damn.
... There, I'm done. So, what're we gonna do now? I vote: take over the world. Failing that... Make music? by the by, I am loving the vocaloids right now. For some reason, Miku's voice is just superior to most voices. Even her voice-person-thingy. Yeah, I forget the name.
Got any leadsheets?

Elfen Lied is a great anime.
So much so that if it had a higher production value it would be lauded as epic.
At first, it's blood, blood, blood, happy, happy, blood etc. About midway through, it calms down on the orgy of blood and focuses more on the drama it unfolds.
The last few episodes actually had me glued to the screen, I didn't know what emotion to feel when so I somehow felt my entire melancholic emotional spectrum at once. It was like a combination of the feelings of romance and those of attrition, really.
heh, if you can't tell, I tend to get myself wrapped up in whatever it is I'm spending my time on. I'd say this was worth my time. However, I think I'm due to watch Lucky Star again, if I watch too many shows like that in short succession, I might break.
I mean, sure, Paranoia Agent is confusing, but that's all mental. I can handle mental confusion like a tiptoe through the tulips. But emotional confusion leaves me writhing in the depths of utter confusion, not even knowing the name of half of what I'm feeling.
Man, I'm lonely.

I haven't seen Elfen Lied, but one day on /a/ there was a shitton of Elfen Lied threads.
They were basically like "Wow this is a great anime, /a/, I just watched it and..."
To which /a/ replied, "goddamn newfags gtfo"
I couldn't tell whether they were trolling or not.

This library gives me two options.
A) Use the computers freely.
B) Use my laptop and constantly disconnect every two minutes.
Why do I persist in using B)?

'cause, even though where you go on the library network is monitored when you use the lappy, everything else isn't
like what's already ON your lappy
also: I went without internet again for a bit I thought it was because my neighbor's router wasn't connected right, but it was just Hamachi acting up again. Silly me, didn't reset it until just a few minutes ago.
also ALSO: I'm putting Windows se7en on Amelia (mah lappy) because it's all better than Vista and such and such...
really, it's just because it's shinier than vista
also, takes less ram to run.
(vista takes like half a gig of ram just to run vista)

Thus, you understand why my sig hasn't changed since July.
KJ enjoys his pastimes of designing and partially enacting half baked pyramid schemes only hinted at in this forum, drinking coffee and tea, obtaining new hardware at such crazy low prices, obtaining software (old and new) at the low, low cost of search, download, open, download, seed, lurking around image boards that shall remain unnamed in this post, geeking out every now and then for no apparent reason, and not having a job.
KJ will likely become a student at Full Sail within the next year, at which point, he will probably have a job.
No, I'm not going because of the Disney parks within walking distance.
Not just because...

Crys' birthday was on the 8th, she is now twenty-one years of age, only a good four months behind myself.
She's been looking into colleges around the states, and a little further north, for 3-D Animation and Modeling, we even visited Full Sail and took a tour, she liked the place. She's been researching other schools, like one that we found in Canada that seemed better than Full Sail and focused more on what she wanted. But now she's looking at another school down in Phoenix, Arizona that seems interesting.
I'm just kinda floating along beside her..
We're finally getting out of the hole of that which is despair and broke-ness. I've been pulling double-shifts at work and covering for other people, swapping days, stealing hours, things of the sort. So, Paragon and Crys should no longer be complaining, hopefully, about lack of money/food/fun.
Life certainly gets better when you try to fix the problems that you have..
Oh, and level 80 on WoW on my warrior main. *thumbs up*

oh, I think I did some research on that
Do tell how that one turns out.
(My internet is in and out. I think my neighbors moved their router.)
I made a new admin account on my lappy, deleted the original account, and watched as it deleted 30 gig of junk files that I didn't even know were there.
My deduction is it was a virus, but eh.
In any case, Windows 7 some time this week. Plus the Microsoft Sidewinder is an incredible mouse. I fits my hand perfectly. Now, is there a lefty version?
Also: looking into new computers, both desks and lappies. I have come to the conclusion that the best computer is one that I'm going to have to build myself.
Or, I could just put togather about $400, and get that pretty good lappy Wal-Mart has on sale (for some reason, it's not on their website) at the store near Razorback.,,
So, I get desktop that is pretty damn high end with no extra junk in the OS (also, free OS) for about $800 (the price of everything is variable, plus I've got a tech head that would guide my purchases, so it could be down to $600 or up to $1000) plus upgrade ability OR I get a lappy that answers all my current needs plus moar for about $400 (the tag price is $350).
If I build it, it's going to probably be my main computer for some time, as it will be relatively high end for at least another three years.
If I buy the one on the end of the shelf, I get one that's currently a middle end lappy and could probably meet my need and want for at least half a year before I get curious and try to install a bigger hard drive. (the W-M lappy has 3 gig of ram, a 2 gHz processor, and a 160 gig drive, I'm currently operating on 1 gig of ram, 2gHz processor, and a pair of 70 gig drives in my Acer; they've got the same disk drive.)
Either way, I'm upgrading. so I'm looking for opinions. But if push comes to shove I'll pull. Meaning I'll just get the cheap lappy and start to slowly collect the pieces for an uber computer that I'll probably start building this winter.

Right, Talon, because giving yourself the mindset of "Fuck this, who cares, nothing will ever change." Is -definately- going to make your life better.
To quote a wise, short, green man.
Do or do not. There is no try.
You want your life to stop sucking? Do something about it. Quit bitching, hike your pants up, and wade into the bullshit that is your life and fix the god damn drain yourself.
